The 2015 Buderim Garden Festival will be held over the weekend of Saturday 17th October and Sunday 18th October, at the Buderim War Memorial (BWMCA) Hall , cnr King and Main Sts., Buderim.

The theme of this event is "Buderim Blooms" and the official opening will be at 2 pm on the Saturday afternoon.

The Garden Festival comprises 3 parts:
1) The Spring Flower Show,
2) 6 Open Gardens, and
3) Quality Plant Market.

1) On the Friday 16th, BGC members will set up the Hall for the Spring Flower Show. Entries are encouraged to fill this Memorial Hall with floral decorations, plants, vegetables, hanging baskets, bonsai, cut flowers and novelty arrangements.

Children are encouraged to enter a separate novelty section, using vegetable items.
A detailed competition schedule will be available at a later date.
Opening times to the public on Saturday and Sunday are from 9am to 4 pm.
Entry will be by Festival ticket or $2 for entry to the hall only.

2) Entry to the 6 Open Gardens will be via a Festival Ticket which will be available at the Memorial Hall on the Festival weekend, or presold at the Buderim Old P.O., Buderim News, and Manawee Nursery.

Cost is $15 for access to all the open gardens, the hall and the plant market.
A bus has been arranged to move people between the gardens for a small extra cost.
The 6 gardens have been chosen for their special features and are open all weekend.

3) The Quality Plant Market will live up to its name by presenting a wide variety of plants in excellent condition. Specialist growers and local enthusiasts have established a reputation of quality in their plants in the past years.
During the weekend, light refreshments will be available at the Memorial hall and the adjacent Craft Cottage. This Craft Cottage is presenting its own displays during the weekend.
