Tomás Ford presents, as a part of the 2015 Melbourne International Comedy Festival

Electric Cabaret

Award-winning cabaret lunatic Tomás Ford is losing control. His computers are broken, his songs are too weird and his charisma is backfiring. The show is imploding! This is either the best party ever, or a one hour nervous breakdown.

Electric Cabaret is a unique experience that mixes the darkest depths of cabaret with pulsing synthy pop songs, David Lynch-inspired video projections, and Tomás Ford’s one-of-a-kind brand of demented showmanship.

Running from 9 – 19 April, 2015 at the much-loved Tuxedo Cat, all crooning, all crowd-baiting, all electronic-music-button-tweaking madman Tomás Ford brings his bona-fide cult hit, Electric Cabaret, to the Melbourne International Comedy Festival for its’ premiere season.

“Raucous, riveting intensity.” Five Stars - Time Out London

“An orgy of unpredictability” – The Music

“Tomás Ford is a terrible, horrific, offensive affront to traditional cabaret. And I loved every minute of it.” - Four and a Half Stars - Adelaide Theatre Guide

“What sort of person creates a show as deranged as this? But then again, what kind of person am I to be enjoying it?” Five Stars - ThreeWeeks
