Elder Conservatorium Wind Orchestra
Robert Hower Conductor

A 'hot' evening of music as the Conservatorium's Wind Orchestra perform the WORLD PREMIERE of Bagatelles by eminent Australian composer David Stanhope. Clever tongue-in-cheek movements like 'Serial Beethoven', 'Ludwig Wagner', 'Raising the Standard' and more make for loads of fun.

Composed for Solo Saxophone – with Tom Pulford, Jazz Trio and Wind Orchestra - Alcaron's Concertango is "a work of fusion combining a classical symphonic group with a jazz trio (piano, bass and drums)." Other works include Centenary Fanfare by Nathan Cummins and the evocative Solitary Dancer composed by Warren Benson.
