First, we will take your sight. Then, your hearing. In return, we will make you fear.

The only reason Katie agrees to go out for dinner for the first time since being blinded in an accident is because her best friend convinced her. The evening goes from bad to worse as their phones stop working and they encounter heavy traffic, far heavier than anything they would have expected. Traffic that consists of cars with no drivers. Traffic that doesn't seem to be caused by a crash, but by something much worse.

Meanwhile, in a restaurant nearby, Caleb slips away from a family dinner to secretly smoke. Before Caleb can rejoin his family, his hearing aid fails, emitting a strange static noise, while his family, and all the people in the restaurant, change to something unrecognisable. He is faced with the choice of confronting the nightmare, or waiting for it to claim him.

A two-part experiment in sensory deprivation, Fear presents two terrifying situations through the filter of incomplete perspective. What if you can’t hear the world breaking apart around you? What if you can’t see the thing that hunts you? If the way you perceive the world changes, how will you know it's changed?

Join the nightmare with us.

Audiences will be blindfolded for parts of this performance. Mature themes, not suited for young children.
