Every Thursday in July (yep, all five of them), The Vic will play host to a rockin’ lineup of some of the greatest bands and musicians Sydney has to offer!

The Community Cup is the already infamous, averagely skilled, massively entertaining Aussie Rules blitzkrieg featuring teams made up of media legends (the Sailors) versus rock gods (The Walers), raising money and awareness for Reclink Australia. The fourth annual grudge match between the Sydney Sailors and Western Walers hits Marrickville’s revered Henson Park on Sunday August 2.

The Community Cup raises funds for Reclink Australia, who use sport and the arts to enhance the lives of some of the community’s most vulnerable and isolated people - those experiencing mental illness, disability, homelessness, addiction, and social and economic hardship. Reclink encourages participation in physical activity in a population group under-represented in mainstream sport, recreational programs and associations.
