In celebration of Good Food Month, Pier One Sydney Harbour is bringing to life its passion for local, seasonal produce with their first Delicious Destinations Festival on Sunday 11 of October.

Alongside delights from the hotel’s restaurant; The Gantry, visitors will see the Pier transform into a hub of local Walsh Bay eateries, vendors and regional produce stations. Visitors to the wharf can enjoy a day of live entertainment, educational classes and exclusive tastings and talks from famed wineries and distilleries – including Sydney’s first Cloudy Bay Lounge for 2015, Lowe Wines, and Archie Rose cocktail making.

The Gantry Restaurant produce suppliers will be supporting, showcasing regional vegetables and ingredients from the Blue Mountains, Mudgee, Orange and South Coast of NSW. Other key artisan suppliers to The Gantry include the Grumpy Baker, who will be baking fresh bread all morning live on the pier.

The Delicious Destinations Festival is also a family friendly event, with entertainment and activities for the kids, including a colouring in station, painting demo, and even kids pilates to keep them moving.

Located in the revitalised Walsh Bay, perched on the Harbour’s edge and nestled next to the Sydney Harbour Bridge, there isn’t a better place for a true Sydney experience this spring.
