Horace Bones
A band named in reverence to a whispered name from the past, known almost exclusively to Satanic, blood drinking, acid hippies = Horace Bones.

One owned a shiddy bar, one worked behind the bar, another played at the bar and one drank like a fish. On a slow night as the rain-emptied out of the sky like a sheet over the city, the four put aside their duties, took up their instruments and began to play to no one but themselves.

Songs flowed out of the four minds and they called themselves a band. A band named in reverence to a whispered name from the past, known almost exclusively to the Satanic, blood drinking, acid hippies that one meets in strange places.

Fifth Dawn
Fifth Dawn was formed in November 2014 with young artists all hailing from selective performing arts and academic high schools, their skills as musicians was developed at a very early age. They began experimenting with different sounds and combining their individual influences into their writing which allowed them to create a unique and innovative sound. The band spent time developing and refining their sound with Richie Newman of Buried In Verona who ultimately produced their debut (5 track) EP “The Horizon” in April of 2015.

The sound of Fifth Dawn encompasses a blend of light and shade with mostly heavy instrumentation and the soaring high vocal of Samantha Faul. The majority of the band attend the same high school and were friends before starting to build the band. The dynamic of the group is infectious with high energy stage performance and crazy banter between them on and off stage.

Acid Western
Acid Western is the mysterious and beautiful love-child of Jack and Ben, a duo of cheeky bandits who met at a university not located in Melbourne. The pair soon realised that their near-identical tastes in jackets and footwear should be put to better use and the two began compiling their musical ideas, leading ultimately to the formation of Acid Western.

Riley, a distinguished jazz percussionist and perhaps more conveniently Jack’s brother, was soon enlisted to drop hectic and radical beats. After much deliberation, the trio decided a dose of something much lower was needed and so called on a third cheeky rapscallion hailing from the said university named Mike (by day at least). The new creature added his bass and even some cello to the fray, and the now-complete tasty foursome set out to show the world their take on it.
