Where: Elder Hall, University of Adelaide, North Tce, Adelaide CBD, South Australia

Adelaide's leading wind ensemble, and exciting newest orchestra, invites you to put on your dancing shoes and make your way to Elder Hall to join us in the tango, revel in evocative ballet, and tap your feet along the way.

Close your eyes and imagine that you are on an exotic dance floor on a balmy evening in Argentina, or sitting in the Moscow's world-famous Bolshoi theatre taking in the Bolshoi Ballet, or on Broadway in New York at the Winter Garden Theatre taking in the premiere of West Side Story. We will take you away to all locations of these all in one night with Adelaide Wind Orchestra, guest directed by the energetic and charismatic David Polain (SAPOL, AAO, TTB), reprising his stint with our group in 2014.

This event is based around works that draw heavily from Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, featuring Bernstein's Symphonic Dances from West Side Story, Saint-Seans' Danse Macabre, Prokofiev's Romeo and Juliet, and much more!

Come and join in the dance and the romance of Adelaide Wind Orchestra's Invitation to the Dance.
