To celebrate the launch of Jamaica Blue’s limited-time Jamaican Street Food menu, Jamaica Blue Executive Chef, Danika Heslop, will lead a Free cooking demonstration at Westfield Miranda from 12pm – 1pm on Friday 9 October 2015.

To be held in the Fresh Food Precinct on Level 1 at Westfield Miranda, Danika will reveal her expert tips and tricks for tantalising Jamaican Street Food cooking at home, and demonstrate live for attendees how to easily replicate one of the dishes from the special Jamaican Street Food menu – Caribbean Fish Tacos.

With Free taste-samples and take-home recipe cards to be offered to each attendee, the event is designed for home-chefs and bookings are not necessary. Furthermore, customers who order any one of six dishes on the day from the Jamaican Street Food menu will receive a second dish at half price.

Designed by Danika Heslop and available now until 31 October 2015 at Jamaica Blue cafés across Australia, the Jamaica Blue spring 2015 Jamaican Street Food menu includes:

1. Baked Beef Patty: jerk spiced pulled beef and black bean filling, wrapped in flaky pastry.
2. Smoky Spiced Corn: juicy corn brushed with paprika aioli and rolled in toasted coconut.
3. Caribbean Fish Tacos: barramundi fritters, cabbage slaw & mango lime dressing in a soft tortilla.
4. Black Beans & Rice: brown rice salad with zesty lime, coriander, gherkins & pecans.
5. Jerk Chicken Burger: juicy seasoned chicken fillet with tropical pineapple on a brioche bun.
6. Sweet Potato Chips: with creamy paprika aioli.
