Fresh from storming to victory in the publicly voted “Favourite Artist” and “Favourite Song” gongs at the Fowlers Live Awards, South Australia’s Julia Henning has released her newest single, “Drifter” and plans to back up her recent national tour with another east coast run as the new year breaks.

Julia Henning’s voice is pure and powerful at the same time. Coupled with her honest lyrics drawing from the realities of life, her words resonate with the listener encouraging them to reflect on life and carry on strong.

Beautiful Beasts are too coming off the back of a very successful 2014. The self described 'pop-rats' hailing from South-East Melbourne have influences stemming from rock/folk/psychedelic and pride themselves on constantly growing and evolving their sound and image. Following the release of their debut self-titled EP in July this year, the Beasts have been gaining attention both nationally and abroad - having been on high rotation on several radio stations in the states and also winning the MTVu Freshman competition for their debut music video for Right.

They're currently in the middle of recording new material which they plan to release early next year.

Joining them are two fresh and exciting local up and coming acts; Mango Retreat – a folk group who write blissful, mellow folk tunes that have influences stemming from Bon Iver, Jinja Safari and Ben Howard. And also Babyface Ensemble – an indie electro pop act whose sound has been described as edgy and experimental however remaining accessible.
