Networking WA is holding a Workplace Wellness expo at PCEC during Mental Health Week.

Mental health and wellness is an increasingly important topic in the workplace. In fact, a healthier workplace can lead to improved productivity outcomes for employers. It is estimated that at any point in time, one in six working age people will be suffering from mental illness and absenteeism will cost businesses nearly $33 billion a year in payroll and lost productivity.

A well designed workplace should support individual mental health and wellness and lead to reduced absenteeism, increased employee engagement and improved productivity.

So how can we improve? Are there new ideas we can implement? How can your programs deliver a positive return on investment? Join us as we hear from industry experts and business leaders who will share their thoughts and experiences on the topics of Mental Health, Workplace Wellness and the latest workplace trend ‘FIFO’.

Speakers:

Rob Bransby, Managing Director FFin, FAIM – HBF Health Limited
Johnny Velloza, BHP Billiton Iron Ore
