Feature: Mick Meredith

Mick always had a love for stand up comedy and gave it a crack in the 1990’s at the (once) legendary Harold park hotel. Since then he has appeared and headlined in every major comedy venue in Australia.

He has appeared a dozen times on the NRL footy show and was also a writer of the same show. Other TV shows he has done have been 110% tony squires, stand up Australia, mornings with kerri-anne, Thursday night live and joker poker.

Mick has appeared at every major comedy festival in Australia and New Zealand in solo shows as well as partnered with other comics including Kitty Flanagan.

As a comic and musician mick has released two albums, 'Man United', a live stand up recording, 'Wombat Out of Hell' (with his band Ride the Wombat), a live DVD called '100% Mick' and was part of the best of the footy show DVD’s.

Mick’s style has been described as laidback and cheeky with plenty of laughs and applause, a bloke you’ll laugh at onstage and want to have a beer with afterwards. Whether MCing, doing stand-up or singing and playing guitar, Mick’s razor sharp and loveable wit will have you laughing from start to finish.

MC: Kirsty Mac

Kirsty Mac's first ever comedy appearance was as a cast member on a live to air and live audience TV sketch show in which she played a slightly manic weather woman. The show won the award for ‘Best Live to Air Programme’ on Melbourne’s Channel 31.

Building a solid following in Australia over the last few years, Kirsty Mac has sold out shows in both Melbourne and Sydney Comedy Festivals.
