Olav Klutz presents the inaugural sitting of the 2015 Norwegian Dance Government in Exile.

Order of business:
musical introduction by the Minister for Culture, Jono Lattin
by special demand, the Arts Spending White Paper presented by Genghis Cardigan

The Hon Jono Lattin: Once called himself Pablo "Libido" and in 2009 carted an act around town with a bunch of drum machines and paraphernalia. His original songs are things that happen at Rock o'clock, with Tin Pan alley at one end and a yawning chasm at the other - inhabited by few other than musical eccentrics and oddballs such as Tom Waits, Magnetic Fields, and an elusive chap named Lobsterman.

Front bench, Genghis Cardigan: the innovative alternative to alternative rock that doesn’t always make sense. Combining both melodious and dissonant elements in a random manner that, at times, sounds rehearsed. GC (as they are known in Dubbo, due to a legal dispute with Genghis Cards & Gifts) reluctantly appeared on a milk carton in April of 2013 after being kidnapped and held for ransom for 12 months. As captives they continued to cobble songs together using morse-code, peripheral vision and squirrels until the bus home arrived. Released their self-yelp, Scandinavian political commentary "Well Done Finland, Well Done!" in November 2014 to applause.
