There’s no one size fits all approach to getting a job in the development sector.

That's why AVI are joining forces with Save the Children, the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre (ASRC), Engineers Without Borders (EWB) and Architects Without Frontiers (AWF), to host a panel discussion on the diversity of pathways taken to work in the aid and development sector at the Link Festival Melbourne, 2015.

We want to help you get your dream job. And who better to help than people who've done it before.

Hear from:

Returned volunteers from AVI, EWB and AWF
Corey Williams - former ski instructor turned Program Manager at Save the Children
Mark Deasy an experienced (15+ years) development worker from AVI/Oxfam
Dona Cayetana, manager of the Professional Mentoring Program at the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre
Facilitator Sean Lynch, Recruitment Manager at AVI and former Director at Sports for Change.

The event is free but we suggest you register to reserve your seat - http://www.australianvolunteers.com/about-us/news/pathways-to-impact/.
