The 6th Annual Queensland Transport Infrastructure Conference will take place on the 5 - 6 May at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre. Attracting over 200 delegates, this conference is a must attend for industry professionals seeking the most up-to-date information on the State’s transport projects, policy issues, research findings and best practices.

As part of its strong plan for a bright future, the Queensland Government is committed to delivering better infrastructure by building a transport system that supports the needs of a growing population. Over the period of 4 years from 2014 to 2018, the Queensland Transport and Roads Investment Program (QTRIP) is expected to deliver $18.1 billion in transport infrastructure across local, State and national networks. The QTRIP addresses the Government’s priorities for transport infrastructure that supports the long-term vision for a better Queensland.

The Queensland Transport Infrastructure Conference will feature major transport infrastructure projects such as the Bruce Highway Action Plan, the $1.16 billion Gateway Upgrade North project, the Toowoomba Second Range Crossing Project as well as projects in the pipeline for sectors across Road, Rail, Regional Transport, Ports, Freight & Logistics. This conference will cover the latest project updates and evaluate Queensland’s transport policy issues, research findings and best practices.

The 2 day event will include presentations and case studies from a diverse field of high profile speakers within the Public and the Private sectors. This event will be a “meeting of the minds” offering highly valuable networking opportunities where transport professionals, operators, contractors, consultants and investors can learn about what projects are in the pipeline and capitalise on the business opportunities being created.
