Looking back from 2030, how will we view the actions of today?

As part of Melbourne Knowledge Week 19 – 25 October 2015, B Lab Australia and New Zealand have joined with City of Melbourne to present a special event that will challenge and inspire you.

Three star speakers will present on why it was important for their businesses to become B Corporations, from the viewpoint of 2030. This will be explored from social, environmental and business engagement perspectives. They will explore the role of business in society and revisit how success is defined.

The three Rock Star speakers are:
- Dan Ross, Patagonia Ambassador
As a kid in Northern New South Wales, Dan dreamed of being a pro surfer. His passion and raw talent landed him on the ASP World Tour, with a well-earned reputation for powerful surfing in challenging conditions. Today he hunts big waves, coaches young surfers and is a spokesperson for environmental causes.

- Abigail Forsyth, Managing Director and CoFounder KeepCup
Abigail is an entrepreneur whose business knowledge, insight, creativity and experience has led her to become an international distributor of KeepCup.

- James Chin-Moody, CEO and Founder Tushare and Sendle
James Chin Moody is the CEO and Founder of Sendle, Australia's first carbon-neutral parcel delivery service. He is the co-author of The Sixth Wave: How to Succeed in a Resource-Limited World and CEO of TuShare, Australia's fastest-growing giving community.
