Ellen Briggs:
Ellen Briggs is a talented mother of two, with a sharp tongue and a rapidly rising career in the comedy industry!

With just two years experience, she bagged first prize on the National Foxtel Comedy Channel’s ‘Be a Comedian’ and earned a spot on Stand Up Australia. She then became a finalist in the nationally televised Melbourne International Comedy Festival 2007 “Raw Comedy” Competition. Ellen has an easy-going, friendly nature that belies the dark wit that lurks beneath. It’s been said that “Ellen says out loud the things other mothers only dare to even think”, and that “with her tales of parenting, she could well become Australia’s next Fiona O’Loughlin”. Ellen takes her audience on an observational and hilarious journey through life as an accidental mother of identical twins and the wife of a husband who is away working for 9 months of the year. She has made an art-form of sneaking really politically incorrect jokes onto the end of “nice” yarns. She launches the punch lines stealthily. You won’t see them coming, but you’ll know when they hit.

Matt Marr:
Matt Marr has been a major part of the Queensland comedy scene for the last 10 years. In that time he has worked with many of Australia’s best-known and most respected comedians… People like Austen Tayshus, Greg Fleet, Paul Brasch, Fred Lang, Steady Eddie, Gary Eck, Gary Who, Dave Grant, Mick Merideth, Anthony Mir, Pommy Johnson, Greg Sullivan, Julia Morris, Dave Williams and Michael Winslow from the police Academy movie. Matt also has performed at the famous Laugh Factory on the Sunset Strip in L.A... the list goes on.

Matt has already made a considerable mark on the comedy world through various competitions and performances right across Australia. He has competed in the national “Triple J Raw Comedy” competition including a third place performance in 2004, and was the winner of the 2004 “Legends of Laughter” at the ‘Gold Coast Arts Center’. He was also an A-List performer in the national “Green Faces” competition.

Paul McMahon:
Paul McMahon is comedian based in the Byron Shire and has gained success with his laid back style of observational humour that we can all relate to. He has been a Triple J RAW comedy QLD state finalist two years in a row and was winner of the 2010 ‘Village Idiot’ comedy competition at the Bangalow Big Joke comedy festival. Paul is the polite, quietly spoken guy next door who says what he really thinks on stage. Fathers, girlfriends, friends, shopkeepers, in fact everyone will be able to relate to Paul’s easy going nature and hilarious perspective on life.
