Residents of Claws, the newest exhibit at SEA LIFE Melbourne Aquarium are getting rather snappy these Winter school holidays. These creepy crawlies have taken to Melbourne like a crab to water, join in the fun this winter school holidays and learn all about their claw-some world.

The friendly crustaceans of Claws are clearly enjoying their new home as they scurry around their crab shaped tanks with their new friends. Since the launch of the new exhibit in April, CLAWS has been impressing visitors young and old with the underwater spectacular.

The Japanese Spider Crab, the largest crab species in the world has left a big impression on Melbourne visitors with their long legs, while the smallest of the team, the fiddler crabs have also won over many hearts with their tiny bodies and out of proportion, giant claw.

This school holidays also sees the launch of the new Glass Bottom Boat Tour. Glide above the 2.2 million litre Oceanarium, and get closer than ever before in the all new Glass Bottom Boat Tour at SEA LIFE Melbourne Aquarium. It’s your exclusive window into an amazing underwater world. As well as thousands of amazing underwater animals, measure up against the giants, including Mr G, our Queensland grouper, Mitch, the Grey Nurse Shark, and the massive Smooth stingray, Mars. While on tour, your SEA LIFE Skipper will reveal the secrets of the Oceanarium, as you learn about the animals, their home, and get a glimpse of how it all works behind the scenes.
