The National Trust Tasmania's annual Spring Plant Sale is being held this year on Sunday the 11th of October from 10.00am - 2.00pm.

Runnymede was built in 1836 for Robert Pitcairn, one of the first lawyers admitted to the Supreme Court in the Van Diemen’s Land colony and a leading campaigner against the transportation of convicts from Britain. It later became the home of a whaling captain's family for more than 100 years.

Plants, books, and bric a brac will all be for sale along with delicious Devonshire tea, with all proceeds going towards the restoration of Runnymede's beautiful gardens.
