Since 2008, the Swan Festival of Lights has been setting the Perth foreshore alight with a multitude of colours, rhythms and flavours, providing a stellar experience for all the senses. It is a celebration of the Indian festival Deepavali (Diwali); a cultural festival celebrating the universal theme of light triumphing over darkness.

Hosted by Temple of Fine Arts and Annalakshmi Cultural Centre of WA, and supported by the City of Perth and Office of Multicultural Interests, this year’s exciting event will be held over 3 days at Langley Park, commencing on Friday 6 November.

The Swan Festival of Lights 2015 will feature an exquisite array of multicultural performing groups, paying homage to a variety of traditions as well as fostering intercultural exchange in our diverse Australian community. The Temple of Fine Arts International’s vibrant and enriching dance and music performances will also showcase a number of excerpts from their recent, highly-acclaimed presentation of the Indian epic Ramayana.

Accompanied by mouthwatering delicacies by Annalakshmi, exclusive handicrafts by Lavanya Arts and family friendly workshops and activities, the Festival is primed to once again take Perth on a spirited journey of the senses.

Annalakshmi Indian vegetarian cuisine daily from 4:30pm. Performances nightly from 6:30pm.
