It’s about to get Hot In Here!

This Sunday: The Honourable Sarah Scott MP, aka local Booty Queen is taking turning up the heat on your Summer Sunday Session with her Sweaty School Dance set. From 5 - 9PM the beats will be bouncing, cocktails and good vibes flowing. Bring a crew and feast on DEPO’s new bar food menu and make this your session destination this weekend.

Hon Sarah Scott MP, sometimes known as Sezzo Snot or just Sezzo, began DJing with her mate DJ Nick One just over a year ago, and has quickly established herself as one of Brisbane’s most exciting DJs. She has combined DJing with twerking, wowing party people with her vibrant energy and becoming a local booty queen.

Creator of Brisbane’s Milkshake Dance Party, Hon Sarah Scott MP has made a name for herself not only through her preference for the bootylicious, but also for mixing an unpretentious love of pop with more fresh underground sounds and local bands. She aims to play music that people can’t help but dance to, and firmly believes whether a song is commercial or obscure to be irrelevant to the having of good times.

Passionate about New Orleans Bounce music, Hon Sarah Scott MP also does the occasional show on 4zzz radio titled ‘Booty Hour’ to promote this unique style of hip hop and educate people about the origins of twerking within this sub-genre, as well as its feminist and cultural implications. In Sydney recently, she performed as a back up dancer at Big Freedia’s (the undisputed Queen of Bounce) concert, and her bum shaking has also dazzled audiences at Major Lazer, Earth Frequency Festival, and Secret Garden Festival.

Impressing clubs and art galleries around Brisbane quickly lead to Hon Sarah Scott MP having the opportunity to support Coolio last year, an experience she says she describes as “AMAZING! He gave me a fantastic enchilada recipe then threatened to put a hole in my housemate for talking to his girl. So Good.”
