Ladies and gentlemen...

Dust off your Drizabones and don your Akubras, it’s time to celebrate another magnificent Beard Season.

In keeping with their tradition of stylish, grand events, a gang of handsome matilda's and bearded rangers of the bush have corralled the Carrington Hotel in Katoomba for an almighty knees up on the 29th of August. We highly suggest you attend.

Taking place across five lavish rooms in one of Australia’s most impressive heritage hotels, a coo-weee from the Three Sisters, the evening will be MC’d by none other than comedian Tim Ross and headlined by The Meeting Tree. Tickets include a champagne welcome toast, cocktails, a hearty country feast, a four hour beverage package, guest speakers and thigh slapping good times. Numbers are strictly limited and are filling in fast so you’d better get cracking muster your crew together. This is the perfect weekend getaway to one of the most breathtaking landscapes in the country. A guaranteed great night with some illustrious guests for a very good cause.

If you haven’t heard of Beard Season this is the perfect opportunity to get acquainted.
Essentially, Beard Season is an invitation for gentlemen to grow their beards for winter, get a skin check and then use their beards as conversation starters, challenging as many people as they can to do the same. Melanoma is one of the world’s deadliest cancers (especially for men aged 18-45) but if detected early, chances of survival are a lot higher than other cancers.

The movement started after one of their friends died from melanoma at the age of 26. Since then, it’s grown (excuse the pun) to become one of the biggest campaigns for early detection in the world, with thousands of ambassadors signing up every year, fuelled by their collaborations and growing fanbase on instagram (@BeardSeason). Most recently, the group co-hosted an exhibition with award winning photographer Mr Elbank in London’s Somerset House which saw over 35,000 guests visit the show and share the potentially life saving message.

The Bushrangers Ball is a reward for everyone who has been part of the journey and a great way for anyone to support one of Australia’s hottest non profit charities. When was the last time you had a #BeardSeasonSkinCheck?

Grow on.
