With music ranging from the early 60’s Soul Train, Hittsville-Motown Era, to the 70s disco era and today’s modern and top 20 hits, The Funksters are a must-see act.

With Mat Stokes on percussions and lead vocals, Peter Tuitama on rhythm guitar and lead vocals, Jason Otene on drums and Dean Harawira on bass guitar and lead vocals, this four-piece band of experienced and professional New Zealand musicians/entertainers please just about any audience.

The band play a great range of New Zealand music, making them perfectly suited for a weekend of Waitangi Day celebrations at Southport Sharks!

The Funksters will take to the Sharks main stage on February 6 from 8.30pm. Free entry!

Dinner can be purchased on the evening from restaurants within Southport Sharks. Table bookings are essential and can be made by calling Southport Sharks reception on (07) 5532 1155.

Children are welcome in Southport Sharks, but must remain under the immediate supervision of a parent or guardian at all times and are not permitted in any designated "Over 18" area.
