The Journey of Diversity - Musica Intima Ensemble

This year Musica Intima Ensemble (Pianist Maxwell Foster, Violinist Yejin Min, Cellist HyungSuk Bae) is having concerts on the 15th and 16th of August at 6:30pm at the Lavender Bay Art Gallery, both dates will contain same program, so you have more choices depending on your schedule!

We will be performing and sharing our thoughts concerning repertoire of the Romantic era, a famous figure from Russian classical music and the Neo-Classisism produced around World War 1:
Suite Italienne by Igor Stravinsky
Fantasiestucke Op.73 (Fantasie Piece) by Robert Schumann
Piano Trio no.2 Op.67 by Dmitri Shostakovich
- 15 minute Intermission -
Cello Sonata no.1 Op. 38 in E minor by Johannes Brahms
Polonaise Brillante Op.3 by Frederic Chopin

Duration of the concert will be 80 minutes. The concert will contain a significant dramatic line throughout the whole program, and it will be so much fun to share the ensemble's own perspective of these substantial works.
