Victorians are invited to explore the life of the man who brought us Freddo Frog and Cherry Ripe, as the Royal Historical Society of Victoria (RHSV) hosts a panel discussion on the legacy of Sir Macpherson Robertson.

“MacRob” has been referred to as Willy Wonka meets Richard Branson:

and more.

The panel will discuss how the Chocolate King continues to leave his mark on Victoria 70 years after his death, and will feature:
- Dr John Lack – historian and writer of the Australian Dictionary of Biography entry on MacRob
- Margaret Akins – Assistant Principal, Mac.Robertson Girls’ High School
- David Thompson – curator of the colourful and mouth-watering new exhibition on MacRob “Nail Can to Knighthood”
