An Australian-first laser fountain show on Cockle Bay, the colours of Antarctica and special offers from many popular attractions make Darling Harbour the place to be during Vivid Sydney – and will get the world talking about this extraordinary place.

The Vivid Laser-Fountain Water Theatre on Cockle Bay will combine computer-controlled fountain jets and spirals, rainbow lasers and dancing flames. This choreographed symphony of light and music is set to a soundtrack from Sydney's electric music gurus, The Presets and runs every half hour from 6pm-11pm during Vivid Sydney 2015.

A dazzling Polar Lights show influenced by the colours of Antarctica on the roof of the Australian National Maritime Museum, will invite Darling Harbour visitors into a wonderland of light as it is trapped, bounced and reflected off snow, sea, sky and ice.

Visitors can also use interactive kiosks to program the world's largest interactive light installation, Luminous at Darling Quarter, to light up the 150 metre building facade during Vivid Sydney 2015.
Before the lights come on, visitors can see nocturnal animals by torchlight with WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo’s special Twilight Tours. Circus Performers near Harbourside Shopping Centre and incognito performers who will weave through the crowds at Darling Quarter will also bring unexpected bursts of colour and movement.

For drinks and dinner, visitors can take advantage of special offers. Watch mixologists from many Darling Harbour restaurants and bars present limited edition Vivid-themed cocktails, each served in an illuminated resin glass which visitors can take home.

Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority has proudly partnered Vivid since it began in 2009. The Authority creates, stages and produces the big events that attract more than 26 million visitors to Darling Harbour and contributes $1.2 billion annually to the NSW visitor economy.

Vivid Sydney (22 May – 8 June) is an 18-day festival of light, music and ideas – the largest of its kind in the world. Now in its seventh year, the event is owned and managed by Destination NSW, the NSW Government’s tourism and major events agency.
