Waterways is an exhibition like no other, mixing art with science communication and crowd-sourced installations. It’s the unique HotHouse engagement style in a new and exciting format.

The exhibition will tell a story of water in the life of our city, from fresh water to salt water and from human lives to the ecological health of our waterways and harbour. The aim is to inform and provoke the public to consider how our own choices as city dwellers impact the wider environment that we collectively value. This is being done by celebrating a multitude of voices and lived experiences but also confronting people with the reality of environmental pollution and its effects on ecosystems.

Featuring collaborations with six talented local artists, HotHouse will be transforming two whole shop spaces on Level 1 of Central Park shopping centre into a multi-sensory experience of light, sound, touch and smell. Join us and explore Sydney's Waterways as you never have before. The exhibition will be open to the public for 5 weeks (23rd March - 30th April).

Our launch event on Monday 23rd of March will be an opportunity to hear directly from the artists and and hang out with the HotHouse crowd. Oh, and there'll be free wine!

Tickets to the launch are free but compulsory (and limited) - grab yours today!
