A new Australian play from five of Melbourne’s most celebrated Playwrights.

Monash University Centre for Theatre and Performance in association with The Coopers Malthouse and Melbourne Fringe Festival

Welcome to Nowhere
By Angus Cerini, Zoey Dawson, Daniel Keene, Fleur Kilpatrick and Morgan Rose
Directed by Emma Valente

Poised and ready to jump, the threshold people, the brink people await an unknown future: a trip to Mars, a cardboard urn, a shrinking soul, a lost summer's day and a disappearing township.

Welcome to Nowhere is poetic, funny and heartbreaking, written by some of Melbourne's most recognised independent artists in association with Monash University's Centre for Theatre and Performance and The Coopers Malthouse.

Performed by an ensemble of graduating students from the Centre, this daring new work explores Victor Turner's concept of liminoid and those lives caught in transition. A world steeped in stories of mortality, love and transformation.
