Following the hugely successful sold out event in 2014, the fifth annual Yours & Owls Music Festival returns in 2015 with one of the biggest line-ups ever assembled in the South Coast region including some of the nation’s best bands alongside incredible local artists.

Headline acts will include The Preatures, The Rubens, Gang of Youths, Bahamas (Canada), Salmonella Dub (NZ), Ash Grunwald and Cloud Control. Taking to the stage will also be Triple J favourites The Delta Riggs, Saskwatch and The Smith Street Band, as well as Illawarra acts The Pinheads, Shining Bird and Russell W & The Five Islands.

The two days will feature plenty for festival-goers to enjoy including more than 15 DJs, large-scale art installations and interactive projections as well as gourmet food stalls curated by local connoisseurs, Foragers Markets. For the first time, attendees will also have the opportunity to pitch a tent under the stars at the event and camp from Friday to Sunday.

For film buffs, the Festival’s outdoor cinema will screen the jazz documentary produced by Quincy Jones and winner of the Tribeca Film Festival’s 2014 Audience Award, 'Keep On Keepin’ On' followed by a live performance of the newly reworked soundtrack by Russell W.

For a band that started in December 2014, Boo Seeka have been kicking goals. The Sydney duo have toured nationally with Kim Churchill and Sticky Fingers' played GTM (Canberra), and have delivered two delicious singles, "Kingdom Leader" and "Deception Bay". Their first headline tour saw them selling out 3 Sydney shows and 3 Melbourne shows, lathering the crowd with a swagger of hip-tronic sounds and beats. Currently touring nationally with SAFIA, they will be returning to Wollongong on Friday October 2nd to join a jam packed line up at the Yours and Owls Music and Arts Festival.

With just over 1 week to go to the annual Yours & Owls Music & Arts Festival the promoters
are today excited to announce the event set times.

With a lineup that boasts some of Australia’s leading acts including The Preatures, The
Rubens & The Smith Street Band, plus with the expansion to include an All Ages event on
the 3rd day, it is fair to say this years festival is shaping up to be the biggest yet.

The 2015 installment sees the festival delivering the biggest lineup ever assembled in the South
Coast region and includes some of the countries biggest bands alongside a hand-selected bill of
local artists playing at the scenic Stuart Park, located right beside North Wollongong Beach.
As expected tickets having been flying out the door with only limited tickets remaining for Friday
and Saturday, and the all ages event on Sunday.
