After two sold out Fringe shows in 2016 the reconstituted 1965 Masters Apprentices hit the stage at the Gov on Sunday 13th Nov 2016. If you missed out the reunion the first time then book now for this rare must see event.

Featuring four original founding members of the band Mick Bower, Gavin Webb, Brian Vaughton and Rick Morrison (the band that baked the cake!).

In the 60s the Masters became a rock’n’roll/r’n’b institution alongside the Twilights and Easybeats taking Australia by storm – now 50 years later they reunite after Jim Keays passing to rock out yet again.

The band is augmented by former SA Jim Keays Band members guitarist Rob Pippan, additional vocalists, Ian Polly Politis, Nanette Van Ruiten and Matt MacNamee (second kit) plus vocalistCraig Holden. The band return to belt the early ’65-’68 Masters hits, vintage blues and r’n’b. This expanded line up also bought the house down at Thebbie in 2015 for David Days’ Rock Of Agesconcert to a standing ovation.

Hear the Mick Bower penned early hits Living In A Childs Dream, Wars Or Hands Of Time and Undecided (a Bower / Rick Morrison hit!) plus the evergreen hits in later years – Turn Up Your Radio, Because I Love You and much more.
