Death is one of life’s greatest mysteries. When we die, do we simply no longer exist? Or is there a continuity of our consciousness and progression of our soul?

The Afterlife Explorers Conference has been created as a networking platform to forge a link between afterlife science, survival research, consciousness studies and spirituality.

This Conference will challenge many popular misconceptions of how we view death and dying.

Belief in an afterlife, whether spiritual, religious or supernatural, is in contrast to the belief in oblivion.

For many people this continued existence takes place in a spiritual realm, popularly referred to as Heaven or Paradise. There is also a widespread belief in reincarnation wherethe individual soul may be reborn into this world and begin the life cycle over again, usually with no memory of what they have done in past lives.

Such rebirths and subsequent deaths may take place over and over again until the soul eventually gains entry to a higher spiritual realm.

The debate over the possibility that our consciousness survives the physical death of our body has been intentionally regulated by science, medicine, religion, education and the mainstream media.

Scientists, theologians, medical professionals and sceptics sadly often ignore and ridicule evidence from those who have approached, and in some cases gone beyond, the threshold of death … even though such credible experiences have a profound effect upon those involved.

Nowadays the official scientific term used instead of “the Afterlife” or “Life After Death” is “the survival of consciousness” or simply “survival.”

Survival research involves many different subcategories including children who remember past lives (also called ‘cases of the reincarnation type’ or CORT); hauntings and apparitions; near-death experiences (NDEs) and out-of-body experiences (OBEs); instrumental transcommunication including electronic voice phenomena (ITC and EVP); deathbed visions; spontaneous cases of after-death communication (ADCs); and mediumship.

The 2nd Afterlife Explorers Conference will be held at the Shoppingtown Hotel in Doncaster, Melbourne between 29-31 January 2016. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to see and meet some of the world’s leading afterlife researchers and also network with fellow soul travellers.
