Celebrate Australia Day 2016 in Singleton with markets and entertainment on the Civic Centre Green. Come down to the Civic Centre for your free barbecue breakfast from 8am before joining the formal celebrations including the Australia Day citizenship ceremony.

There will be live performances from the Dungog Ukulele Group, a local band and country singer Tracey Nelson.

Kids will be spoilt for choice with face painting, balloon twisting, stilt walkers, reptile and crocodile show, giant water slide, jumping castle and more.

There will be a variety of market stalls and food stalls operating throughout the day, these will include craft, clothing and a variety of other interesting wares. Food stalls will offer a delicious choice of healthy food options.

The Australian Tug-o-war champions will take on local reigning champs, Army team, in a battle of strength against other top teams.
