Join UNSW Canberra for the opening of an exhibition bringing together the prints and prose of Australian artist and novelist Barbara Hanrahan. Assembling pieces held by UNSW and local private collectors, this exhibition presents Barbara Hanrahan’s prints alongside her unique imaginative fiction, displaying the fertile relationship between her visual and textual languages.
Officially opened by Dr Annette Stewart, the exhibition at UNSW Canberra manifests the “mysterious and contradictory” elements within Hanrahan’s written and visual media, celebrating the life and work of one of Australia’s most recognised printmakers.
