Selby and Friends’ hugely popular foray into the chamber music of Beethoven is revisited again with iconic Australian virtuosi, violinist Dene Olding and cellist Julian Smiles, joining pianist Kathryn Selby in a wonderful selection of the master’s violin and cello sonatas and piano trios. This single composer program, first initiated by Selby and Friends in 2014 in partnership with ABC Classic FM, occupies a special position in Selby and Friend’s 10th Anniversary year.

Beginning with Beethoven’s earliest piano trio opus, through violin and cello sonatas of the middle period and culminating in the universal favourite, the “Ghost” Trio, this concert evening will leave listeners breathless and yearning for more.
