Boy & Bear will be bringing ‘Limit Of Love’ across Australian region this November and December. The Aussie folk-pop faves will kick off the extensive string of shows in Ballarat, then moving through the 20-date schedule alongside national support act, four-part indie-folk group All Our Exes Live In Texas.

Fresh from a stellar set at Splendour and the Grass, the five- time ARIA award winners released their third studio album Limit Of Love in 2015. The LP, met with rave reviews, was recorded in the inspirational surroundings of Peter Gabriel’s Real World Studio. In fact, Boy & Bear have just announced a new edition of #1 ARIA charting album Limit Of Love to coincide with their regional tour. The new version adds 10 new live tracks from across the Boy & Bear catalogue, recorded in Sydney this year at the band’s sold-out Horden Pavilion show.

The album Limit of Love is a recording that is less about fine-tuning everything to the nth-degree, and more about capturing a band at the height of their powers in an honest, organic way. It’s an approach most modern bands would be too scared to try, but for Boy & Bear, that leap of faith has proven to be a very successful masterstroke.

Excited to be hitting the road after this year playing a number of major festivals and shows across Australia, USA, Canada, Europe and the UK, Killian Gavin (vocals, guitar), enthuses, “We'll be changing it up night to night really, often the venue depicts what kind of show we will go for. A nice noisy pub makes a great rock show while the intimate theatres allow a lot more room for dynamics and banter. Keeps us on our toes and stops us from being repetitive…It's been a long time coming for us, this regional run. But we always love playing to as many local cities as we can, it takes time to get back there but we're looking forward to it.”

Boy & Bear have also announced a special collaboration with Akasha Brewing Company. Akasha and the band have created an exceptional brew called All Australian Ale (AAA), which will be exclusively available at the upcoming shows on Boy & Bear’s tour. All proceeds will be going towards the charity Buy a Bale, helping to support rural Australian communities and farmers.

Akasha Brewing Company, founded in 2015 by Dave Padden and Wesley White, are renowned for their attention to detail, consistency, and passion for all things beer. Using 100% Australian ingredients, Boy & Bear and Akasha have created a sensational ‘brew for a cause’. Their charity of choice, Buy a Bale, a division of Rural Aid, provides assistance to rural communities through fodder supplies, hampers, volunteers, tradies, technology, and works with other rural non-profit groups to co-ordinate assistance. In the 3 years from 2013 to 2016, 3.5 million dollars has been raised to support rural towns through drought and economic hardship.

In addition to this, Parlour Gigs and Wonderlick are giving you the chance to win an all-expenses-paid Parlour gig, performed by Boy & Bear themselves. Parlour brings the magic of live music into your home, they connect hosts with artists and empowers them to create unique entertainment experiences together. To celebrate the end of the tour in December, Boy & Bear will perform a special, intimate show in NSW Central Coast. You can win this exclusive acoustic set from Boy & Bear just for you and your mates. Head here for details:
