This unique, practical four week course synthesizes theory and practices from the internationally acclaimed Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction program, traditional calm abiding meditation and the facilitator’s years of teaching, study and practice.

If you’ve been wondering what mindfulness is and how to practice it, if you think meditation might be good for you and would like to try it or get back to it, this is the course for you.

Choose the location and time that best suits you to attend one weekly two-hour class for four weeks. If there is a week or two where you are unable to attend your preferred class you are welcome to attend one of the others.

About the facilitator:

A practitioner and teacher of meditation for over a decade, Sharn Rocco (PhD) has attended retreats and received instruction from some of the world’s renowned meditation masters. She has taught courses and led mindfulness retreats in various locations in Australia and overseas.
Twice scholar-in-residence at the Garrison Institute New York, Sharn has published scholarly, research and magazine articles about teaching meditation and its effects.
