Ecca’s stand-out performance at Splendour In The Grass earlier this year had fans and music industry alike raving about her energetic and genre defying sound, with the likes of The Guardian declaring “This rapping riot girl won’t be warming up for bigger acts in a year or two.”

Of her September ‘Father Hu$$la’ headline show at Sydney’s Goodgod, The Music stated “Each track that Vandal belts out is epitomised by the pure intensity of her delivery & hellip; her live performances are developing into the stuff of legend… The boundless energy from the frontwoman is matched by an equally enthusiastic band. Pounding drums, ruthless guitars and thick bass/MPC sounds lay a solid baseline…we can't afford to let Ecca Vandal out of sight. She's on fire and here to stay.”

New single ‘End of Time’ was premiered on triple j and added straight to the playlist. The track re-illustrates Ecca’s anti-genre persona, positioning her at the very cusp of a new chapter for Australian women in music. ‘End Of Time’ co-produced by Ecca in collaboration with co-writer and producer Kidnot, is the first single that does not feature a distorted guitar, instead it's injected with gritty, pulsing danceable beats interlaced with Ecca's soaring melodies against dark, pop, shoegazer synths. ‘End Of Time’ is a sonic shift from previous singles ‘Battle Royal’ and ‘Father Hu$$la’, an exciting reminder of just how difficult it is to pigeonhole her as an artist. The track was premiered online via The Line Of Best Fit who declared “Vandal's ceaseless charisma and fascinating experiments force you to hang on every beat & hellip; This one's hook-rich and poised to infect the airwaves - it's pure pop brilliance.”
