Melbourne-based songstress, Evangeline will bring her dark electro pop flavor to Sydney for the first time next month, performing at The World Bar on Friday, June 17.

In just two short years, Evangeline has found herself getting spins on Australia’s most influential youth radio network Triple J, receiving high rotation airplay on the Js’ digital station, Unearthed (where she has enjoyed Featured Artist status) and more recently, signing an international licensing deal with Polydor France, whilst keeping it indie in Australia and New Zealand, releasing her music through boutique label Razor Recordings.

Having collaborated on two singles with studio luminaries Pip Norman and Jan Skubizsewski, Evangeline came to the attention of Polydor France when LA producer William Black delivered a stellar remix of her second release, “My Kingdom”. The William Black Remix reached the Top 4 of the Spotify Global Viral Charts, garnering over 3 million streams across the Spotify, YouTube and Soundcloud platforms.

Her mesmerising voice and impressive songwriting prowess have attracted a constant flow of collaboration requests from producers and artists around the world.

And the girl can perform…her dynamic live show features Evangeline playing the keyboard, Killboy’s Stuart Le Brander on pads – and of course, that killer voice, which has lead to her being snapped up by desirable booking agents, 123 Agency.

She is currently enjoying airplay on two sides of the world: Her single, “My Kingdom (William Black Remix)” has been added by Virgin Radio on high rotation, and she features on Killboy’s debut single, “Let Go”, which has reached almost a million plays on Trap Nation since its premiere two weeks ago.
