Father Metro City Takeover Boot Camp

Round 2

The last time we took over Metro City was Huge (from what we can remember). But this time we wanted to make it even bigger. So we are upping our game and bringing you 4 international bass acts who are set to rip some serious lids!

Also be on the look out for our rooftop rave with the local Father legends spinning B2B bangers under the stars. Because whats better than having a froth and dart while still being able to listen to sweet choons?

Theme: Boot Camp - Father is generally always a war zone, but this time it's literally a war zone. Break out the camo, and get ready for the bombs. Expect Metro City to look like a jungle by the time we're done with it

Gent & Jawns

After developing respectable solo careers as DJs and producers, long-time friends Billy the Gent and Long Jawns officially banded together as Gent & Jawns becoming an unstoppable force in the world of club music. In early 2012 they worked with mega-producer Diplo on his Express Yourself EP, which topped the iTunes charts as the number one electronic album. They followed up with an absolutely stunning remix of the title track "Express Yourself," which saw repeated plays by many of the top DJs in the world.

Shortly after, they released "Holler" their first official EP on Mad Decent's Jeffrees label. Jeffrees went on to earn the iTunes Label of the Year honors. The duo ended the year proper when they released "Turnup", a party-inducing track that's being called the biggest trap song of 2012. In two weeks the track saw 80,000 plays and held position as the top electronic song on SoundCloud.

From dubstep wunderkind to pioneer of the trap movement, 20-year old Crnkn from New Hampshire has exploded onto the electronic scene. He has garnered support from major artists including Flosstradamus, Baauer, UZ, Crizzly, The Killabits, Adventure Club, and many more. With hundreds of thousands of plays on his Soundcloud and constant touring around the country playing the most prestigious venues and shows, he returns to Australia for a series of huge Father parties

DJ4B is having a huge year, with release coming out left right and centre with some big names. His remix of Fetty Wap with Flosstradamus just clocked over 2 million plays, and his new remix with Hip Hop legend DJ Mustard is a certified banger. Definitely one to watch in 2016, expect some big things!

Instant Party

Seattle native Kenny Lim, aka Instant Party! has made a splash in the trap scene in just the past year. It may come as a surprise, but it was not until the summer of 2013 when Kenny decided to commit himself to music. Just a few months later, a fan sent him a link to submit music for Diplo's BBC Radio 1 show Diplo and Friends. He was the only artist on the mix to be double-featured. Ever since then, the fan mail, collaboration requests, and booking inquiries have been flowing. Apart from Diplo, he's received support from the likes of Flosstradamus, Lil Jon, Far East Movement, Steve Aoki, Victor Niglio, DVBBS, and many more. Instant Party! is changing the trap game.
