Golfies Kids Disco

Wollongong Golf Club has a new Kids Disco on the first Friday of every month. This supervised kids disco allows the kids to have a fun night at a disco and the parents to enjoy a night out. It’s perfect for birthday parties.

Let the kid’s dance the night away while you enjoy a nice dinner or just relax in our lounge. The disco is supervised with organised games and dancing and we only play age-appropriate music. We have a high-quality professional sound system (but not too loud), lots of lights and a mirror ball. We also play some video clips (age appropriate), play fun games with prizes and take requests from the children.

Snacks and glo items are available for sale.

Times: 6.30pm to 8:30pm - children can be collected at any time within these hours.

Safety & security - All children must be signed in at the disco and they will not be allowed to leave the Auditorium unless they are signed out by the person who signed them in. You may sign in more than one child. Parents can be paged if child requests.

Age limit: There is no age limit at the disco; we like to encourage families to come out together and bring all of their children. Please stay with small children, but feel free to use the club’s other facilities if your children are old enough to take care of themselves. The disco is most suitable for children aged 5 -13 years old.

Adults accompanying children to the disco may like to order from the bistro and eat at the disco. (Adults may bring bistro food into the disco area). Or they can eat in a quieter area of the club without the children.

Glow/flashing items and some treats are available to purchase. Glow sticks with small connectors are not permitted in the club.

Behaviour - We love exuberant children and encourage them to have a carefree time. Children will be asked to behave if they are running, pushing or bullying.

Birthday parties - $16.00 per child—includes reserved table/s for the party, plates, cake plate, cups, serviettes, party food (sausage rolls, cocktail frankfurts, fairy bread, chips, ham & pineapple pizza, watermelon slices and unlimited cordial), Birthday shout-out at the Disco, Birthday song requests, 2 glo items per child and entry to the Disco. Bookings should be made at least one week before the date of party. It's best to book in as early as you can.
