At the IFA 13th Global Conference on Ageing from the 21st – 23rd June 2016 in Brisbane, you will have opportunities for knowledge exchange and to meet a diverse group of high-level experts in the field of ageing such as:

- Ms Alana Officer, Senior Advisor for the Department of Ageing and Life Course at World Health Organization who will be presenting two pivotal workshops on the WHO World Report on Ageing and Health and Age-friendly Cities and Communities.

- Dr Catherine Barrett who will be leading an important Symposium in the Elder Abuse, Law and Rights thematic track on issues faced by older LGBTI in Australia and will conclude with a framework for the development of LGBTI age-friendly cities.

- Dr Jennifer Campbell, previous Director of the Hurricane Fund for the Elderly (HFE), a Grantmakers in Aging (GIA) initiative, with colleagues – Ms Lindsay Goldman (New York Academy of Medicine), Ms Gail Kohn (DC Office of the Deputy Mayor for Health and Human Services), Mr John Stalker (COTA) and Dr Jeffrey Stiefel (US Department of Homeland Security) will discuss community resilience, philanthropy and creating age-friendly communities in the lens of older adults and disasters.
