Jackie will perform a selection of her favourite Bossas, Ballads and Cool Jazz tunes. Featuring the gifted guitarist Craig Fermanis, the much sought-after drummer Hugh Harvey and the hard swinging Hiroki Hoshino on bass.

Jackie Bornstein (voice)
Having performed venues in Australia and the UK over the past 15 years, Jackie has developed a particular talent for storytelling through song. Known for her richly toned vocals and ability to get to the heart of a tune, Jackie imparts a range of emotions through her use of varied vocal timbres.

Craig Fermanis (guitar)
Craig has shared the stage with a diverse range of artists including Ricki Lee Jones, James Morrison, Paul Grabowsky, Kate Cebrano, and was a finalist in both the Wangaratta National Jazz Awards and the James Morrison Jazz Scholarship.

Hiroki Hoshino (bass)
Hiroki is actively involved with big bands and jazz club gigs around Melbourne having performed with esteemed jazz artists including Allan Browne, Tony Gould, Paul Williamson, Aaron Choulai, Joe O’Connor and Be-bop band Bopstretch.

Hugh Harvey (drums)
Hugh plays regularly with many of Australia’s top jazz musicians. Performing with Leigh Barker and Tom Vincent, Hugh opened for the Branford Marsalis Quartet on their 2010 Oz tour. Hugh was a semi-finalist in the Wangaratta National Jazz Awards and has toured extensively.
