Lee Kernaghan is back in 2016 with an exciting new show for his highly acclaimed The Songs & The Stories in Concert tour. The tour will see Lee travel throughout NSW, Victoria and South Australia kicking off in April and features some of the biggest hits of his career, plus special highlight performances from his latest release, Spirit Of The Anzacs.

Lee says he is looking forward to sharing the music from Spirit Of The Anzacs with audiences. “It was an enormous privilege to have been a part of the making of the album and such an emotional and moving experience to bring the stories of our Diggers to life once more in song,” he says.

The album notched up four weeks at Number One on the official ARIA chart and went on to become the biggest selling Australian album of the year. On being presented the 2015 ARIA Award for Special Achievement, Lee praised his fellow musicians Guy Sebastian, Jessica Mauboy, Sheppard, Shannon Noll, John Stevens and Megan Washington who also donated their time and talents to the project. One hundred per cent of all proceeds from the title track Spirit Of The Anzacs and award-winning music video have been, and will continue to be, donated to Legacy Australia and Soldier On.

“I’m incredibly excited to be taking the new show out on the road,” says Lee. “It’s an amazing experience being on stage singing songs like Boys From The Bush, Hat Town, Flying With The King, Australian Boy and The Outback Club. So many of those songs are not just about me, they’re about us, our people, our country, and our way of life – that’s what inspires me the most”.

Joining Lee on tour will be special guests, The Wolfe Brothers – who have been notching up successive number one hits on the country music singles and video chart – along with the beautiful and talented Christie Lamb, who has just won her first Golden Guitar for Best New Artist at the Country Music Awards of Australia.

“We all feel really blessed to be able to take our music out to audiences Australia wide,” he says. “There’s a real sense of occasion and nervous anticipation backstage before every show. When the houselights go down and stage lights flash on, we all know we are in for something special.”
Lee Kernaghan is one of Australia’s most prolific country music artists. He has earned four ARIA Awards, 36 Golden Guitars, and has achieved 33 No.1 hits on the Australian Country Singles Chart. Lee has sold in excess of two million albums in the Australian market. He was awarded The Order Of Australia Medal in 2004 and was named Australian Of The Year in 2008 for his service to rural and regional Australia.

His Pass The Hat Around Australia Tours, Spirit Of The Bush Drought Relief and Farmhand concerts have raised millions of dollars for country Australia. Lee’s previous release, Beautiful Noise scooped the pool at the 2014 Country Music Awards of Australia, picking up awards for Single of the Year and Music Video of the Year (Flying With The King), along with Male Artist of the Year and Top Selling Album of the Year.

Don’t miss your chance to experience this very special musical event.
