Legs Electric is an all-girl Rock ‘n’ Roll band that are not ashamed to embrace the power and soul of the golden era of heavy rock, while living fiercely in the present tense. The Perth based band have crafted a sound and style that blends contemporary hard rock with the guitar based heavy blues of 70’s arena rock.

“A powerhouse…they stormed the stage (with) a set of original songs heavily influenced by a 70’s rock ‘n’ roll sound.” - The Music

“… powerful and engaging…Becoming the go-to support act for rock and metal bands touring (Perth), these girls have the style, presence and confidence to stand tall on any stage.” - X-Press Magazine

Legs Electric consists of lead singer Ama Quinsee, guitarist Laura McCormack, bass player Abby Soanes and drummer Kylie Soanes. Since forming in late 2012, Legs Electric have quickly gained a reputation as one of Perth’s must-see bands thanks to their ferocious live shows. Legs Electric have become regulars on the Perth scene, playing support for both national and international bands including Ace Frehley, Baby Animals & the Superjesus, Sebastian Bach, the Supersuckers, Uriah Heep, the Datsuns, the Bell-Rays, Blues Pills, Palace of the King, Tumbleweed, King of the
North and Kadavar. Perth rock station 96FM has been an early supporter of the band, playing a variety of songs and regularly having the girls in the studio as musical guests on their “Friday Live” morning show.

Legs Electric released their self-titled debut EP in May 2014; followed by two singles in 2015: Wanna Riot and Strange Addiction – both produced by Joel Quartermain (Eskimo Joe, Meg Mac, Little Birdy). Legs Electric music can be found on iTunes, Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube, Pandora, SoundCloud, Deezer, CDBaby, Slacker, Bandcamp, Music Glue and most major digital outlets.
