LifeTec is a dedicated provider of assistive technology (AT) information, advisory and education services. We have over 30 years experience partnering with people to imagine, seek, choose and live the best AT solution. ‘Assistive technology’ or AT is any device, equipment or technology you use to make your everyday life easier. People with a disability and health professionals are invited to our conversational consultation at the Toowoomba City Library.

What do people with a disability want from health professionals when selecting and using assistive technology?

What would you like in your new partnership with health professionals when you:

Imagine what is possible
Seek information on what is available
Choose the best device for you
Live with the assistive technology

We want to hear from people who use assistive technology about their journey with allied health professionals in a safe conversation. This conversation will also provide allied health professionals with an opportunity to listen to the lived experience of the AT process. LifeTec will use this information to develop training and resources for health professionals to use when working collaboratively with people with a disability on their at journey.
