Two special shows added!
Saturday 2 April, 4pm matinée: Wheelchair Accessible Relaxed Performance.

What is a 'Relaxed Performance'?
The National Theatre UK explains it well: 'Relaxed Performances are specifically designed to welcome people who will benefit from a more relaxed performance environment, including people with an Autism Spectrum Condition, sensory and communication disorders, or a learning disability. There is a relaxed attitude to noise and movement... An easy way to understand the atmosphere is perhaps, 'the opposite of the quiet carriage on the train'.

Monday 11 April, we're moving to the big room for one night only!
Due to overwhelming demand, we've found an extra date at Tuxedo Cat so we're doing a FINAL show at 9.45pm on Monday 11 April, the final Monday of the Fest!

Tickets for both these shows will go on sale 12 noon on Wednesday, 30 March.

The show Lisa has been asked to do for years is finally here. An all-new solo show exploring a life lived in the most efficiently hedonistic way possible. Outrageous stories so ridiculous they must be true, with an occasionally heartbreaking sting in the tail.

Queer, polyamorous, kinky femme daddy Skye is Not Normal. This leads to wild adventures, but comes with its fair share of judgement, from family and strangers alike. Everyone has an opinion on Skye’s life, form her pocket-Machiavelli mother to the 23-year-old beautician who just removed Skye’s vulva- fur.

Meanwhile, Skye just wants to have fun and ensure everyone around her is having the best time. This includes her audiences: Skye’s warmth and contagious joy is legendary, from standing ovations in Berlin and Helsinki to sold-out shows interstate and in her home town of Melbourne.

What does it mean to be alternative? Why is difference so confronting? And, most importantly, is her long-suffering husband only enduring her eccentricities because dividing up the blu-rays is too onerous a task?

Based on her 2015 MFringe work in progress show, Skye knew she was onto something special when people returned to see the show three nights in a row, when it was just her reading from a notebook of ideas. And now she brings the controlled anarchy to MICF.

A voice for the unique, the weirdoes, the sexually diverse and anyone else who unapologetically lives their most fun-filled life.
