Having really ugly celebrity crushes. Escaping through a window after a one night stand. Loving your two boyfriends.Losing your father to cancer. One of these events is the funniest and most confronting things that has ever happened to Lauren. The others are just facts.

Creating a bridge between gallows humour and slapstick, Lauren Bok’s debut solo show brings together her rubber face, endearing character and distinctive insight into love, death and burritos. Wrapped up neat in a package, not too corny, ready to get jalapeno face, and go the full enchilada.

Lauren Bok is a familiar face in the Melbourne comedy scene for the last 4 years and appears up and down the country in festivals and productions at Fringe World, Adelaide Fringe, Canberra Comedy Festival and Melbourne International Comedy Festival. She performs in the award-nominated Radio Variety Hour, in sketch comedy Wander Women, and stand-up in 2 States of Lauren Bok and Bridget Fahey. She co-hosted Channel 31’s Live on Bowen and appears regularly on other C31 programs About Tonight and Games Night.
