Versatile entertainer Mr Troy has over twenty years experience in the music industry and can perform solo, duo or band.

His solo act consists of acoustic and resonator guitars, strong vocals, foot percussion, blues harps and live loops. He covers a wide range of material from America to Zeppelin and almost anything in between. Mainly classic covers of rock, blues, reggae, and ballads. Playing pubs and clubs is his specialty, but he’s also just as happy to play restaurant/café gigs, weddings, parties etc.

Troy’s duo “Backtrackin” sees Troy team up with lead guitarist Brett “Tomo” Thompson who has a wealth of experience in the music industry. The duo sees Troy performing similar material to his solo act but with more of a full sound with killer lead breaks and backing vocals by Tomo, who also sings a few songs.

There’s also Troy’s three piece rock n blues band “Split Chicken” which was formed in early 2012. Troy switches to electric mode and is joined by Trevor Dooley on bass and Shane Emmanuel on drums. They play nothing but pre 80’s rock and blues such a Creedence, The Band, Stones, Beatles, Joe Cocker, Deep Purple, Hendrix and lots more. These guys really love to sweat it out on stage and are guaranteed to get the audience up and dancing.
