Bethanie, Western Australia’s largest not-for-profit aged care and retirement living provider, will be hosting an Open Day.

At Bethanie Waters, a lifestyle village for over 55s, retirement is vibrant, friendly and relaxed set in a resort-style environment with a residents’ clubhouse offering amenities such as a bowling green, swimming pool, gymnasium, hair salon, crafts room and much more.

The Village Open Day will take place from 11am-2pm, offering members of the public a unique opportunity to participate in guided tours of the village and participate in a marketplace run by Bethanie residents.

Bethanie Waters Men’s Shed will also officially open their doors at 11:45am, celebrating their recent affiliation to the WA Men’s Shed Association. As part of the association, residents can now gain support and training to learn new skills and obtain additional tools and materials.

Within the marketplace, delicious paella will be served from noon, as well as the chance to purchase an array of homemade jams, arts and crafts with all funds going towards Radio Lollipop, an international charity providing comfort, music and entertainment to children in hospitals across the world, including Princess Margaret Hospital in Perth.

Local Port Kennedy Pharmacist, George Salib will be joining Bethanie at the Open Day to answer any questions and provide support to residents and visitors. Also in attendance will be NE Solutions, a family owned and run business that specialise in assisting seniors downsize from large homes to residential care.

Bethanie Waters Village resident artist, Kingsley Smith will have his paintings on display throughout the clubhouse, accompanied by other resident displays of crafts, quilting and woodwork.

With a number of refurbished villas currently for sale, Century 21 Rockingham will also be on hand to assist with any enquiries and provide guided tours.
