The Underground Opera Company (UOC) is getting ready to dazzle Rockhampton opera lovers with a spectacular line up for its May Opera in the Caves season.

Performers heading to the Capricorn Caves from May 27 – 29, will include soprano Ms Anna Stephens and accompanist Mr William Chi, joining UOC regulars, mezzo soprano Ms Kathryn Bradbury, tenor Mr Bernard Wheaton and baritone Mr Jon Maskell.

The Capricorn Caves is one of Rockhampton's finest tourist attractions and the first underground location that UOC performed in with its first Opera in the Caves season held in 2008. Since, the company has delighted audiences, with each patron keen to venture down into the caves for stunning music, with the experience amplified by superb acoustics.

Opera in the Caves, supported by The Denison Boutique Hotel and Red Spot Car Rentals, will be held at the Capricorn Caves, 30 Olsens Caves Road, about 20 minutes north of Rockhampton.

Performances are Friday, May 27 at 7.30pm, Saturday, May 28 at 7.30pm and 3pm on Sunday, May 29.
